Operation Hermit Is Live

Ok, a strange title and you're probably wondering what the hell i'm going on about. Well as any student types will know its coming up to July 1st. That time of year where all across the country tenancy agreements run out and you have to move house for what feels like the millionth time in your life.

It might not seem like an operation but when you've accumulated as much crap as i have-it has to be in order to get anything done. I chose the name Operation Hermit, because like a hermit crab i see to keep moving house all the time. =]

Got to my house around half one today and started bagging all the rubbish. Then moved on to packing clothes, emptying my wardrobe, going through all the crap in boxes, getting everything out from under the bed, throwing out old clothes, bagging my never ending collection of crime-thrillers for the charity shop, filing all my paperwork and taking down all my posters.

I'd say I'm 80% done. Not bad for one days work!

I only have 2 areas that need sorting tomorrow and then i will actually be completely packed. Which gives me the rest of the week to tidy and clean! I'm surprised by how much i have actually done in one day! And I've moved all the packed stuff downstairs to the spare room, to await my dad picking it all up and carting it back to my rents house to store until July 1st.

I have found so much random shit today, including:
Several pairs of scissors; some love heart shaped post-its; 2 of my friends dvds;some nipplie tassles; a hen shaped egg cup; lots of condoms; a dead rubber duckie; a brand-new-never-worn-before pair of pj's;a book on healthy living;some tarot cards;some Jim Beam playing cards;a full pack of cryons;some AS level media work; a book i once stole from a pub;2 phones; my zen v (and charger);my fightstar drumstick;a load of urinelles; a freezer bag; 4 lots of odd shoes and amongst other things ...some mice droppings. Yes we have had mice. *ewww*

I've hoovered everything though!

So a productive day, and i'm feeling really positive, can't wait to move into the new house!
